Adhan App for Slack
About:
Adhan is an Islamic prayer times reminder. Configurable and user-friendly, the app aims to assist users in remembering to pray by sending timely notifications before each prayer time.
Tech Stack:
The application is divided into two main parts:
Event Management with Slack: The application receives and sends events to the Slack app. Scheduling & User Preferences: This involves scheduling tasks that run in the background using AWS Lambda and storing user preferences in MongoDB. Additional Technologies: Serverless Deployment: Utilized the Serverless framework. Slack Integration: Implemented using ExpressJs and the Boltjs framework.
